Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics is a conference where academic and industry scientists from around the world share best practices to accelerate antibody research. It was held December 12-16, 2021 in San Diego, USA.

I attended the conference and presented poster “Systematic evaluation of approaches to the conclusion about the clonal family of B-cells and the impact on biological conclusions”. Beyond the intensive scientific part of the conference, I took part in the workshop on machine learning for antibody and protein engineering.

The conference is a great source of new knowledge and inspiration for future projects! Over the course of the week, I worked through the complexities of machine learning models for antibodies, met colleagues from academia and industry, and returned to my home lab with new ideas to explore.
